Patna: The crisis facing Indigo Airlines is not showing signs of abating. On Tuesday, once again many flights coming to and going from Patna were cancelled. The passengers had to face a lot of problems. Especially the passengers going to Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru were most affected. Due to these sudden cancellations, many people could not reach on time for their meetings, tests and important works. There was a crowd at the help counter at the airport since morning.
A total of 10 Indigo flights coming to Patna were canceled today. These included flights coming from Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Flights coming from Delhi: 6E 6387 and 6E 6643 were completely cancelled.
Coming from Kolkata: 6E 713 cancelled.
Coming from Hyderabad: 6E 6382, 6E 6223, 6E 915 and 6E 6334 did not arrive today.
Coming from Bengaluru: 6E 6451 and 6E 6256 were also cancelled.
Another flight coming from Delhi: 6E 6549 also remained cancelled.
Similarly, 10 Indigo flights departing from Patna also could not take off today.
For Delhi: Flights 6E 2163, 6E 6644, 6E 6550 remained cancelled.
For Kolkata: 6E 663 cancelled.
For Hyderabad: 6E 6042, 6E 6127, 6E 6683 and 6E 6335 flights could not operate.
For Bengaluru: 6E 6452 and 6E 6257 also could not fly today.
Displeasure among passengers
There was anger among the passengers due to the cancellation of a large number of flights. Many passengers accused the airline management of not giving timely information. However, the airline has cited technical and operational reasons as the reason for the cancellation. Indigo officials say that passengers whose flights have been canceled are being given the facility of refund or next option. Passengers have demanded to improve the situation soon, so that the problem of continuous flight cancellation can be got rid of. Patna Airport Administration has also appealed to the passengers to check the status of flights before travelling.
