Prepare a paste by adding 60 grams of ginger and 60 grams of garlic to it. Add 40 grams of green chilies, 15 grams of salt and 100 grams of gram dal. Mix and to make this khichda, you will need 200 grams of oil. Put all these in a bowl and let it cook for about one to one and a half hours, by which your khichda will be ready.
