India Pakistan News: India has been monitoring the developments regarding Imran Khan, who is lodged in Pakistan’s jail, and has condemned Pakistan’s attacks on Afghanistan. India targeted the neighboring country over Pakistani attacks on innocent Afghan people. India said it strongly supports the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Afghanistan.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal gave this information on a question related to the developments regarding Imran Khan, who is lodged in Pakistan jail. Taking aim at the neighboring country on Monday, he said that Pakistan and democracy do not go together.
There was an undeclared ban on meeting former cricketer Khan (73) for more than a month. Khan is in jail since August 2023 in several cases. No one was being allowed to meet Imran Khan in jail, after which speculations began that either he had died or he had been shifted to another place. However, later the situation in Pakistan regarding Imran Khan started getting out of control, after which the Pakistan government allowed Imran Khan to meet his sisters.
India also condemned Pakistan’s latest attacks on Afghanistan. Many civilians were killed in this attack. The clash between the two countries came less than two months after a ceasefire agreement was signed to end weeks of fighting.
“We have seen reports of border clashes in which several Afghan civilians have been killed,” Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in his weekly media briefing. He said, ‘We condemn such attacks on innocent Afghan people. India strongly supports the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Afghanistan. After talks mediated by Qatar and Turkey, both sides signed a ceasefire agreement on October 19.
