Patna. Big news is coming out from Patna, the capital of Bihar. In fact, armed criminals shot dead a handcart driver in the Diwan Mohalla Hamam of Khajekala police station area of Patna City. The seriously injured handcart driver was immediately admitted to NMCH for treatment, where doctors declared him dead during treatment. After the family members informed the police about the incident, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to Nalanda Medical College for post-mortem.
After the incident, FSL team also reached the spot and investigated the entire matter. Police have also recovered two shell casings from the incident site. The deceased has been identified as Shatrughan Paswan, a resident of Diwan Mohalla Hamam, who used to work as a pusher. It is said that Shatrughan Paswan was standing near his house, during which armed criminals shot him twice, due to which he died. After committing the incident, the criminals managed to escape from the spot. The reason for the murder has not been clear yet. The family members have also expressed their inability at present to tell the reasons for the murder.
When asked about the incident, the deceased’s son Abhishek Kumar told that his father had come out of the house after having dinner, during which the criminals who had already ambushed him shot him, due to which he died. The son of the deceased said that his father had no enmity with anyone. Patna City Additional Superintendent of Police Raj Kishore Singh, who was present on the spot, expressed the possibility of murder due to personal rivalry and assured that the whole matter will be solved soon.
Additional Superintendent of Police Raj Kishore Singh, while confirming that two shell casings have been recovered from the incident site, has assured that with the help of CCTV footage, the criminals will be identified and arrested soon. At present, the police has started a massive raid operation to identify the criminals and arrest them. After the incident, there is an uproar in the family of the deceased, the family members are in bad condition and crying.
