New Delhi. There is good news for the passengers going to Delhi from Darbhanga and Patna. In view of the huge rush of passengers, Indian Railways has decided to run a total of four pairs of special trains (eight trips including round trip) from Patna and Darbhanga to Anand Vihar Terminal. This will provide relief to thousands of passengers.
Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, said that the number of passengers is increasing in the winter season, keeping this in mind, station trains are being run. Considering the rush of passengers, the number of trains can be increased.
This is the schedule of trains
Anand Vihar Terminal Special will leave from Patna on 9, 11 and 13 December at 8:30 pm. It connects Danapur (8:45), Arrah (9:15), Buxar (10:00), Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. (11:30 pm) and will reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 3 pm the next day. In return, 02396 Anand Vihar-Patna special will leave at 7 pm on 10, 12 and 14 December and will reach Patna at 2 pm the next day.
The second train 02309 Patna-Anand Vihar Special will also leave from Patna at 8:30 pm on 10th, 12th and 14th December and will run on the same timetable. In return, 02310 Anand Vihar-Patna special will run on 11, 13 and 15 December.
Two pairs of specials from Darbhanga also
The already running 05563 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar special will now leave from Darbhanga at 6:15 pm on 10, 11, 13 and 14 December. It will reach Anand Vihar at 9:15 pm the next day via Samastipur (7:35 pm), Muzaffarpur (10:15 pm), Hajipur (11:50 pm).
In return, 05564 special will leave Anand Vihar at 12:05 pm on 12, 13, 15 and 16 December and will reach Darbhanga at 11 pm. New train 05565 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar special will run at 6:15 pm on 9th and 12th December. In return, 05566 special will run on 11th and 14th December. Both the trains will also run at exactly the same time and with the same stoppage. All these trains will be fully reserved and will have coaches of all categories. Passengers are requested to book tickets from IRCTC website, app or counter as soon as possible.
