Greater Noida. The pace of industrial investment in Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area is continuously increasing. In this sequence, on Monday, December 8, 2025, the authority handed over the allotment letter of 23 acres of land in Sector-10 to Minda Corporation Limited, a leading company in the auto component sector. Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh presented this letter to the company’s Executive Director Akash Minda. Authority officials said that the land allotment has been done through a transparent process under the Investment Promotion Policy of the Uttar Pradesh Government. Spark Minda Group is one of the leading companies in the automotive sector globally and works with many prestigious companies included in the Fortune 500 list. In view of its reliability and technical efficiency, the company has also been given subsidiary benefits by the state government.

Minda Corporation will produce 48 lakh units of wiring harness and related connection systems annually in its new project. The company is going to invest ₹ 522.279 crore in this unit. It is believed that this investment will not only add new energy to local industrial development but will also be helpful in making the area a major automobile manufacturing center of North India. According to the company’s plan, this project will provide direct employment to about 1000 youth, while many thousands will benefit indirectly.

From the point of view of employment generation, this project is considered very important for the Yamuna Expressway area, where the investment of electric vehicle, data center and automobile companies is already increasing rapidly. Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Singh said that Minda Corporation had applied through the Nivesh Mitra portal to set up its unit. After evaluating all the aspects, the land allotment letter was issued by the government. This project will strengthen the industrial system and further increase the confidence of investors.
