Humayun Kabir News: Humayun Kabir’s new party has suffered a major setback. Owaisi’s party AIMIM refused alliance with Kabir’s party. Syed Asim Waqar described Kabir as close to Shubhendu Adhikari. Humayun Kabir has announced that he will form a new party on 22 December.
Kolkata. Humayun Kabir, who is trying to form a new party in West Bengal, has suffered a big setback. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has clearly refused any kind of alliance with him. The party has described Kabir’s proposals as ‘politically dubious’. This statement has come at a time when Kabir had claimed that he is in touch with Owaisi’s party. Humayun Kabir was recently in the news for laying the foundation of a mosque like ‘Babri Masjid’ in Murshidabad. After this controversy, TMC suspended him. Now AIMIM has also distanced itself from him.
Added connection with BJP and Shubhendu Adhikari: AIMIM national spokesperson Syed Asim Waqar has made serious allegations against Humayun Kabir. He described Kabir as ‘close’ to BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari. Waqar said that Kabir is widely considered to be a part of Shubhendu Adhikari’s political system. Everyone knows that officials work at the behest of BJP. In such a situation, the question of going with Kabir does not arise. Their proposals do not match our ideology at all.
‘Muslim does not want politics of provocation’: AIMIM also rejected Kabir’s mosque politics. Waqar said that the Muslim community does not support politics inspired by provocation. Muslims believe in building the nation, not in breaking it. We are with the forces that strengthen the country. The Muslim community rejects those who create unrest and division. The kind of politics that Kabir is doing is going to divide the society.
Constitution and politics of Owaisi: Referring to his party chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Waqar showed the mirror to Kabir. He said that Owaisi Saheb’s politics is based on constitutional values and peace. He cannot associate with anyone whose actions jeopardize unity. AIMIM says that the Muslims of Bengal are intelligent. They know on whose instructions Kabir is working and for what purpose. People have recognized his ‘politics of destruction’.
Are going to organize a party on 22nd December: Let us tell you that Humayun Kabir was suspended from TMC last week. After this he had announced that he would form his new party on 22 December. He had claimed that he would form an alliance with AIMIM and other parties. But this formal denial by AIMIM has weakened Kabir’s campaign even before it started.
