Ingredients
-Paneer – 2 cups (cut into cubes)
-Coriander leaves – 1 cup
-Curd – 2 tbsp
-Mint – half cup
-Green chilli – 2
-Turmeric powder – half teaspoon
-Ginger – 1 teaspoon grated
-Garlic – 1 teaspoon finely chopped
-Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
-Cumin powder – half teaspoon
-Red chilli powder – half teaspoon
Mango powder – half teaspoon
-Gram flour – 1 teaspoon
-Salt – as per taste
-Garam masala – half teaspoon
-Oil – as per requirement
-Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons
Method of preparation (Step-by-step Recipe)
1. Prepare green paste:
First of all, wash coriander and mint thoroughly and put them in the mixer jar. Add green chilli, ginger and garlic in it. Grind everything finely and make a smooth paste.
2. Prepare the marination:
Add curd in a bowl. Add the prepared green mixture into it.
Now mix turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli, dry mango powder, garam masala and salt.
Add gram flour and lemon juice to it and make the mixture smooth.
3. Mix Paneer:
Mix the paneer cubes in the marinade gently so that they do not break.
Cover the bowl and keep it aside for about 30 minutes. With this, the spices dissolve well in the cheese.
4. Cook on the pan:
Heat the pan and spread some oil on it.
Place the marinated paneer cubes on the pan and cook until golden on both sides.
When there is a slight crunch, take them out in a plate.
5. Serving:
Pour some lemon juice on the prepared Hariyali Paneer Tikka and serve hot.
