Imran Masood News: On Vande Mataram discussion in Parliament, Imran Masood cornered the Central Government and said that today the country is standing on Nehru’s blueprint, which no one can deny. The Congress leader said that if Nehru had not been there, the existence of BJP would not have been possible.
New Delhi. During the ongoing discussion on ‘Vande Mataram’ in Parliament, Congress MPs have made a scathing attack on the Modi government. Congress MPs Imran Masood and Ranjit Ranjan raised questions on the intentions of the government. Imran Masood said in clear words that today’s modern India stands on the blueprint of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Taking a jibe at the BJP, he said that if Nehru had not been there, these people (BJP) would not have existed today. At the same time, Ranjit Ranjan linked this discussion to West Bengal elections and said that the government is running away from the real issues. Instead of talking about pollution and inflation, dead bodies are being dug up.
Nehru’s blueprint and BJP’s dreams: Imran Masood said that Pandit Nehru was a leader with a very big heart. He took everyone along. He reminded that India had nothing at the time of independence. The people of the country had neither food grains to eat nor clothes to wear. Everything came from outside. In those difficult times, Pandit Nehru made India self-reliant.
India’s situation would have been like Somalia: Masood said that Nehru comes in the dreams of BJP leaders every morning and evening. The foundation on which the country stands today is Nehru’s contribution. Had he not been there, the existence of BJP would not have been possible. He said, “It was Nehru ji who is standing here. If Nehru ji had not been there, the situation in India would have been like Somalia… We used to eat grains mixed with animals… The country is built on the blueprint given by Nehru ji. Is Vande Mataram PM Modi’s song? Modi ji has no knowledge of history.”
Bengal elections and deviation from real issues: Congress MP Ranjit Ranjan took the government to task. He said that elections are about to come in West Bengal, hence the government suddenly remembered Vande Mataram and Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. He said that the government works only in election mode. Ranjit Ranjan asked whether digging up dead bodies would reduce the deadly pollution of Delhi? Today Indigo flights are being canceled and other airline companies are charging arbitrary fares, but there is no discussion on these issues in Parliament.
Questions on pollution and eco-sensitive zones: Ranjit Ranjan also cornered the government on the issue of environment. He asked, under whose pressure is Delhi’s pollution not reducing? Only one eco-sensitive zone is left in Ganga. There too there is talk of cutting six thousand trees. He asked the government that under whose pressure are you bent on destroying the environment? It is good to remember history, but turning away from the problems of the present is a failure of the government.
