There has been a terrible earthquake in Japan, many videos of buildings shaking due to this earthquake are scaring people on social media. After the earth shaking with a magnitude of 7.6, a warning has been issued in this country about a 10 feet ‘giant’. In fear of which people are leaving their homes and running away. Tsunami areas like Aomori and Hokkaido of Japan have been completely evacuated.
Tokyo: On December 8, a terrible earthquake off the northern coast of Japan created an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. After the terrible tremors of 7.6 magnitude on the Richter scale, many videos of shaking buildings have surfaced on social media. Immediately after this, the Japanese Meteorological Agency (JMA) has warned of a 10 feet giant. This means that after the earthquake, a terrible tsunami is going to occur in some areas. It is being told that the waves of this tsunami will rise 10 feet high, which means this ‘demon’ will easily swallow many houses at once. After this warning was issued, people are leaving their homes and running away.
From which areas are people fleeing?
The epicenter of this earthquake, which occurred in Japan at around 11:15 pm, was at a depth of about 50 kilometers from the coastal areas of Aomori and Hokkaido. After which possibilities of tsunami are visible. People in coastal areas have been warned about tsunami. People in Urakawa city on Aomori island were ordered to leave the coast immediately. Residents of Mutsu Ogawara Port and the densely populated Hachinohe city were asked to evacuate. Apart from this, there has also been news of people getting injured in a hotel in Hachinohe. After receiving this alert, people are leaving their homes and hotels in these areas and running away.
10 feet high tsunami waves
According to media reports, East Japan Railway has immediately suspended many train services from Aomori to Hokkaido to ensure safety, due to which passengers are facing a lot of trouble and an atmosphere of chaos has been created.
Officials are continuously monitoring aftershocks and it has been told that waves up to 10 feet high can occur in the dark of night. JMA has clearly said that the sea is strong and waves up to 3 meters high can hit the shore.
