Industrial Area Muzaffarpur: The process of setting up an industrial area on about 700 acres of land in Paru block of Muzaffarpur has intensified. Development under BIADA is expected to generate employment and economic growth. On the instructions of the state government, the Industries Department has increased its activity in this direction. 700 acres of land is to be acquired for the proposed industrial area. Land acquisition will be done in different areas of Paru block in a phased manner.
Muzaffarpur: After Bela and Motipur, now the process of setting up industrial area in Paru block of Muzaffarpur district has been expedited. On the instructions of the state government, the Industries Department has increased its activity in this direction. About 700 acres of land is to be acquired for the proposed industrial area. A formal requisition regarding this has been sent to the District Land Acquisition Office, on the basis of which further process has been started.
Land acquisition process will start after investigation
The requisition is being reviewed by the District Land Acquisition Office. After checking all the documents and land related details, the next process of land acquisition will start. Under this, MVR (Minimum Value Rate) will be determined by the concerned committee. After the MVR is decided, the proposal will be sent to the state cabinet for approval. The process of land acquisition and compensation payment will be finalized as soon as the green signal is received from the cabinet.
Land acquisition will be done in a phased manner
According to the information, land acquisition will be done in different areas of Paru block in a phased manner. This includes about 250 acres of land in Chainpur Chiutahan, 95 acres in Bhojpatti, 150 acres in Chaturpatti, 120 acres in Harpur and 85 acres in Vishunpur Saraiya. Requisitions for all these funs have been sent. If no technical error is found during the investigation, the next action will be initiated within the stipulated time.

After determining the type and rate of land, the compensation to be given to the tenants will be calculated. For this, the total expenditure is being estimated by the District Land Acquisition Office. According to the prescribed procedure, compensation will be paid to the tenants at a fair and fixed rate. Officials believe that the entire process may take two to three months.
The development of the proposed industrial area will be done through Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA). The establishment of the industrial area will boost industrial activities in Paru and surrounding areas. This will provide employment opportunities to the local youth and give impetus to the economic development of the area. The administration claims that like Bela and Motipur, Paru will also emerge as an important industrial hub of the district in the coming times.
