Chandauli: Water supply has been stalled in Mahabalpur village located in Mughalsarai district for almost 6 months. Due to this, about 8 thousand villagers are facing serious problems. Angered by the non-availability of water, the villagers united and protested several times, but till date water arrangements have not been made. In fact, 50 villagers reached the village water tank and expressed their protest. Both women and men were included in this. At the same time, the villagers said that the problem of water is the most complex for them, because water is life, but their water requirement of even one day is not being met.
Water is not coming to the house since 6 months
Villagers informed that they have complained to the authorities several times regarding this problem. Jal Nigam officials were also informed about this, but till now there has been no solution to their problem. Meanwhile, villager Geeta Devi told that there is no water in her house for the last 6 months.
When people go to fill water, they drive them away
Rural Afsana told that we are facing water problem, there has been a huge problem of water for the last 6 months. He told that even when we go to complain to someone, some give some reply and some avoid it by saying something, but there is a problem of water in the entire village. Water is life, if you go to someone’s house every day for water, he also drives you away.
The whole village is troubled due to lack of water
Another villager Ajay Sonkar said that there is no water in his house for the last 6 months. He said that the entire village is troubled due to non-availability of water. The main demand of all of us is that regular water supply should be restored in the village as soon as possible, so that the difficulties of their daily life can end. He told that about 8 thousand people live in the entire village.
