An easy way to make tomato chutney has been revealed in a new delicious recipe. To prepare this chutney, 4 big tomatoes, 6–8 garlic cloves, 2 green chillies and 1 inch ginger are used. To enhance the taste, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder, ½ teaspoon black salt and common salt as per taste are added to it. Apart from this, adding 1 tablespoon mustard oil and some fresh coriander leaves to the chutney makes it even tastier. This spicy and tangy chutney makes the eating experience more exciting.
Recipe to make it
First of all, grill the tomatoes on direct gas flame, tandoor or in the oven until their surface turns black, after grilling, cool the tomatoes and peel them. Then add tomato, garlic, green chilli, ginger, salt and black salt in the mixer and grind it coarsely. After this, take out the chutney in a bowl and add red chili powder, roasted cumin powder and finely chopped green coriander to it. Finally add mustard oil on top. This oil gives the desi tandoori taste to this chutney. This chutney can be served with hot parathas, missi roti, grilled snacks, tandoori paneer or dal-rice.
