Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh had received death and extortion threats just before the finale. The question was arising whether he would come or not. But, Pawan Singh was not afraid and he not only participated in the show, but also created a stir on the stage with Salman Khan and gave a clear message to those who threatened him – I am not one to stop! Despite the threats, Pawan Singh’s nonchalance not only won the hearts of the audience, but also proved that ‘Power Star’ means not only singing but also courage.

‘If you share the stage with Salman, then it’s over’

Let us tell you that on the evening of 7th December, a call came on Pawan Singh’s phone. On the other hand, there was a person claiming to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He threatened – Don’t come on stage with Salman Khan again… the countdown has started. After this many messages came on WhatsApp. It was written in the message that if Pawan did not listen to him and did not give lakhs of rupees, the consequences would be very bad. This threat was so serious that it was difficult to take it lightly.

FIR registered, police became active

Pawan Singh’s manager Neeraj Singh immediately lodged a complaint with evidence at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai. Call recordings, WhatsApp conversations and numbers were included in the FIR. Police have started tracing the location of the number, initial clues point towards Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is suspected that this is the same gang which had earlier threatened Salman Khan also. Let us tell you that Lawrence Bishnoi gang had earlier threatened Salman Khan and now targeted Pawan Singh.

His security was increased in both Mumbai and Patna. Fans started the hashtag #ProtectPawanSingh on social media which became trending. Pawan Singh himself gave the message that he is not one to be afraid. The love of fans is his strength and he will definitely reach the stage for them. Then his security was increased and Special Force personnel remained with him.

Pawan Singh’s entry in the finale was no less than a blockbuster. As soon as he came on stage, the atmosphere echoed with the applause of the audience. Welcoming him, Salman Khan said- Pawan Bhai, when you come on stage the energy doubles. Pawan Singh performed on hit songs like ‘Love You Jharkhand’, ‘Kamariya Hile Raja’ and ‘Babu Mera Power Dekho’. His dance with Neelam Giri was a special feature of the show. His videos went viral on social media and people started saying – Dhamki ko thengaa, Pawan Singh ka danka.

Police action continues – danger still there?

Mumbai Police has said that the accused will be arrested soon. Leaders of Bihar have also given statements in support of Pawan Singh. However, the question is also arising whether the gang is now looking at Bollywood and Bhojpuri industry as a new target?
