Faridabad: These days the weather patterns are constantly changing in Haryana. Light sunshine is definitely coming out during the day, but the chill in the morning and evening is not showing any signs of diminishing. Despite the slight increase in temperature, the effect of cold persists and people have to resort to warm clothes. Due to increase in wind speed the weather is feeling colder. Especially at night and morning.
A slight increase in the minimum temperature has been recorded across the state, but it is still much below normal. The maximum cold was recorded in Narnaul, where the mercury reached 4.6 degrees Celsius. Even in districts like Hisar, Karnal and Bhiwani, the night temperature is showing the severity of winter. The night temperature in Charkhi Dadri remained at 10 degrees, which was the highest recorded in the state. On the other hand, in Faridabad and Delhi NCR, winds are blowing at a speed of 19 kilometers per hour, due to which the coldness has increased during the day. Light sunlight is no longer having any effect.
The Meteorological Department says that on December 9 and 10, icy winds will enter the state from the north and north-west direction. Due to this the temperature will fall further. In view of this, IMD has also issued a yellow alert for six districts of Haryana, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri and Narnaul. Due to cold winds, cold wave like conditions can occur in these areas.
The maximum temperature also continues to fluctuate. Due to which the weather seems to be changing from time to time. The day temperature has increased slightly in some districts, while a slight decline was recorded in Sirsa. The maximum temperature in Karnal, Nuh and Palwal reached around 25 degrees, but the mercury is still below normal in Rohtak and Gurugram.
According to meteorologists of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, this change is being seen due to western disturbance. He says that from December 9 onwards the cold will again show its effect and the night temperature may drop rapidly. Due to strong north-westerly winds, fog and frost may also occur in the morning and late night. Farmers and common people have been advised to be careful to protect themselves from the changing weather, because the cold may increase further in the coming days.
