On the instructions of CEO NG Ravi Kumar, the Health Department has implemented the night time garbage collection system for the first time. It has been started from the busiest Jagat Farm Market of the city. Due to which a big improvement will be seen in the cleanliness system of the markets.
New system of garbage collection implemented at night
Now garbage from markets in Noida will be collected not only during the day but also at night. Till now, after the closing of the market in the evening and night, garbage remained accumulated, causing filth. The problem of bad smell and flies was increasing. In view of these challenges, the authority has started night garbage collection. Sanitation workers and garbage collection vehicles will arrive at night and collect garbage from shopkeepers only.
Campaign started from Jagat Farm Market
This system was started from Jagat Farm Market which is the busiest business area of Greater Noida. Health department team. Market associations and shopkeepers gave active support in the campaign. The team asked the shopkeepers to keep the dustbins. Made aware not to throw garbage on the road and to give garbage only to vehicles coming at night.
