Kanpur News: There was a stir in Mataiyapurwa area of Kakadev police station area in Kanpur when a 4 year old innocent child lost his life due to drinking electricity. Also, when the condition of mother and cousin deteriorated, they were admitted to a private hospital in Kalyanpur.
Kanpur: A heart-wrenching case has come to light in the district. In Mataiyapurwa of the district, a four-year old innocent boy died after drinking electrolyte solution, while his mother and cousin are seriously ill. As soon as the information was received, the police immediately reached the spot. The police have started investigation by taking the electronic packet in their possession as evidence.
Actually, there was a stir in Mataiyapurwa area of Kakadev police station area in Kanpur when an innocent child lost his life due to drinking electricity. Also, when the condition of mother and cousin deteriorated, they were admitted to a private hospital in Kalyanpur. The police and forensic team have collected the packet and bottle of electra as evidence. The innocent body has been sent for post-mortem.
Wife’s health deteriorated, started vomiting
Ashu Rajput, resident of Mataiyapurwa Nai Basti, works in a Dona-Pattal factory. He told that wife Mohini was unwell and was vomiting. On this he brought medicine and electronics from the medical store. First of all he mixed electrolyte in the bottle and gave a glass of electrolyte to his wife and drank it himself. Then he gave the same electrolyte solution to his son Krishna Rajput (4). Along with this, the same solution was also given to the younger brother’s son Gagan.
Ashu told that after drinking the solution he went to the factory. After some time, everyone’s health started deteriorating except Ashu. Everyone started vomiting violently and their condition started worsening. The wife immediately informed Ashu about this. Ashu immediately reached home and admitted everyone to a nearby private hospital. Doctors declared Krishna dead in the hospital.

Ashu told that there was chaos in the family after the incident. The condition of wife Mohani and nephew Gagan still remains critical and their treatment is going on. On receiving the information, Kakadev police reached the spot and started investigating the case. Senior pediatrician Dr. Rajan Gandhi says that electrolyte cannot be taken normally. Electrolyte should be taken only if there is a problem of dehydration. If you take Electrol without doctor’s advice, it can be harmful.
