Ingredients for making Bathua Raita
-Bathua leaves
-finely chopped green chillies
-finely chopped ginger
-black salt
-plain curd
-Cumin powder (roasted)
-freshly ground black pepper
-common salt
Method to make Bathua Raita
1. First of all, wash the Bathua leaves thoroughly in clean water, so that the soil or dust on them is completely removed.
2. Now cut the leaves a little and keep them in a bowl.
3. Put them in the cooker and boil them with some water. One whistle is enough.
4. After boiling, put them in a strainer so that the water drains out.
5. When it cools down, grind the bathua in a mixer and make a smooth paste.
6. Take out this paste in a vessel and keep it aside.
7. Now put curd in a big bowl and beat it well, so that it becomes soft and foamy.
8. Mix chopped green chillies, ginger, black salt, roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder and common salt in curd.
9. Now add bathua paste and mix well.
10. As soon as the mixture becomes uniform, your delicious Bathua Raita is ready.
