Bihar News: Like the Centre, special force will be formed in Bihar also. BISF force will be formed in the state on the lines of CISF. Which will provide security to industrialists.
Patna: Nitish government took a big decision to create an industrial environment in Bihar. To give a big message to the industrialists, it is preparing to take a big step, especially regarding security. Just as the Central Industrial Security Force works at the Centre, similarly preparations have started to form Bihar Industrial Security Force in Bihar too. In fact, while giving information, Bihar’s Industries Minister Dilip Jaiswal said that on the same lines as there is Central Industrial Security Force at the Centre, we are going to form Bihar Industrial Security Force in Bihar, for this we will send a proposal to the government. In order to enable investors to invest fearlessly and set up industries, we are going to send a proposal to the government to make separate security arrangements for them.
At the same time, Nitish Kumar is also making continuous efforts to create an industrial environment in Bihar and by holding a meeting for more than two hours on Saturday, he has made clear the government’s intention that not only large-scale investment should come to Bihar in the coming five years, but the attitude of industrialists should also be positive towards Bihar, for which the government will leave no stone unturned.
Decision taken in CM Nitish’s meeting
In the meeting held on Saturday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar gave clear instructions to the officials and said that including Bihar among the top five investment-friendly states of India is the top priority of the government. Nitish government has started working on an ambitious action plan to attract investments worth Rs 50 lakh crore in the next five years. Under this, Ease of Doing Business will be further strengthened. 5 new mega food parks will be established. 10 industrial parks and 100 MSME parks will be developed. 7 lakh youth will be given industry-relevant skills and entrepreneurship training. MSME centers will be established in all the districts. Export and market facilities of local products will be expanded. The industrial scenario of Bihar has changed a lot in the last two decades.
Number of industrial areas increased
The Chief Minister told in the meeting that there has been a historic growth in the industrial structure of Bihar between 2005-2025. The number of industrial areas increased from 46 to 94. The number of industrial units increased from 1674 to 3500. Bihar’s industrial exports increased from 25 crores to 17,000 crores. The number of MSMEs increased from 72 thousand to 35 lakhs. The contribution of industry in the state’s GSDP increased from 5.4% to more than 21%. Obviously, if this growth continues, Bihar will become the new industrial engine of Eastern India in the next decade.
31 new industrial parks will be built
Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, who attended the meeting, said that the establishment of Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) spread over 1700 acres in Dobhi (Gayaji) is in the final stages. Along with this, 31 new state-of-the-art industrial parks will be developed on 14,036 acres of land in 29 districts, which will include 10 sector-specific parks (textile park, pharma park etc.). A total of Rs 26,000 crore will be spent for industrial development in the state. A big news regarding Bihar is that preparations are going on to make Bihar the new tech-hub of Eastern India. For this, high level committees have been formed for the establishment of Defense Corridor, Semiconductor Park, Global Capability Centre, Mega Tech City and Fintech City in the state.
