Cyber fraud on 61 year old man
Cyber Cell found in technical investigation that the fraudulent amount was being sent to fake companies through several levels. One of the major fake firms was ‘Belcrest India Private Limited’, in whose accounts ₹ 10,38,000 were found deposited.
Big revelation of Delhi Police
Lakshya, one of the directors of the fake firm, was arrested on 19 November 2025. Lakshya confessed that he had handed over the fake bank accounts, check books and SIM cards to co-accused Shivam on monthly payment of ₹20,000. The Cyber Cell team under the leadership of Inspector Ashok arrested the main accused Shivam, who was hiding by constantly changing his SIM card, from Tilak Nagar on 6 December 2025. 1 laptop, 2 mobiles, 5 check books and 6 debit cards have been recovered from him. During interrogation, Shivam revealed this entire international network. He told that he used to work with a handler, who used to provide accounts of many shell companies including ‘CSP 24 Seven’, ‘Levin Fintech’.
How were the fraudulent amounts transferred?
Shivam confessed that he used to receive USDT cryptocurrency from the handler and sell it to ‘Cool Pay’, a Chinese controlled entity. Let us tell you that the Chinese company ‘Cool Pay’ used to transfer the fraudulent amount to fake accounts like ‘Belcrest’. The money then passed through several levels of bank accounts. This money was used to buy USDT from private sellers. This crypto was repeatedly sold back to ‘Cool Pay’, due to which the money was sent abroad.
After Delhi Police got the news of the arrest of accused Lakshya, Shivam had destroyed the check books of ‘Belcrest’ and also broke the registered SIM card, but the police has recovered the handset used in the investigation. The cyber cell is now trying to reach the depths of this Chinese network so that the mastermind of this international fraud can be caught.
