DhanbadAyush Kumar, resident of Baniya Heer of Jharia area of Dhanbad, has today become an example for young entrepreneurs, Ayush, once fond of sculpture, changed the direction of his life due to circumstances and today he is earning lakhs by providing pure drinking water to the people through ‘Aro Mineral Water’, For the last two years, he has been supplying mineral water to every household within a radius of about 10 kilometers of Jharia, from common people to special people,
Ayush’s dream was to become a sculptor. In his childhood, he also prepared statues of thousands of gods and goddesses. But due to the financial condition of the house not being very good, he had to decide to do something different. He told that considering the health of the people and the increasing need of clean water, he decided to enter the business of mineral water.
After much deliberation, he took a loan of ₹ 3 lakh from his father and installed an RO mineral water plant at home. For the first two years, Ayush himself kept delivering supplies from door to door, carrying a jar on his shoulder. He has completed his studies from UKG to 10th from Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Banoyahir. Although he was able to study only till 10th standard, but due to his hard work and dedication, today he is bringing prosperity to his home with his own earnings.
How is water purified?
AYUSH’s mineral water plant has a stock of 5000 liters of water in an hour. The impurities present in it are cleaned through purifier. It is completely cleaned by adding 20 ml of chemical to 1000 liters of water. Then it is filtered through machine and packed in 15 liter jars. He says that in today’s time it has become difficult to trust tap or supplied water. In such a situation, only clean and pure water is the guarantee of people’s health.
Affordable price and self delivery
Ayush himself drives an auto to deliver mineral water to every home within a radius of 20 kilometers. Price of 1 jar (15 litres) is Rs 25 to 30. If purchased in large quantities, the price can go up to Rs 23 per jar. This affordability and reliable service has made them popular among locals.
