Local 18 team talked to Biology teacher Srinivas Rao about how to prepare for NEET Biology subject. Srinivas Rao teaches Biology in Gyangudi. He has been teaching Biology for more than 25 years. Till now, more than 300 children have studied and passed various NEET and medical exams and are studying in good colleges.
Srinivas Rao says that compared to other subjects in NEET exam, the highest number of questions come from Biology. It contains 90 questions, hence its weightage increases further. To prepare for NEET, one should read NCERT book carefully. For this one should read books of class 11th and 12th. Questions that have appeared once in the papers of the last five to ten years are not repeated, but the way of asking questions changes. Children preparing for NEET should keep revising. It should be read in such a way that it gets stuck in the mind.

In the books of 11th and 12th, the chapter of 11th is more important. More questions are asked from here. Fewer questions are asked in 12th, but every topic is important, because we cannot tell when and from where the question will come. Biology should be studied in detail. You should practice as much as possible. You have to study less theory and solve more questions.
Suppose if you want to read the chapter on Heart, then first you should see how much information is given in our book. Its applications should also be known. The entire structure of the heart has to be studied, its entire function has to be studied and along with this one should also know how many arteries there are, how many veins there are, where the blood is coming from and where it is going, read in complete detail.
