Haryana Weather Update: Cold has shown premature effect in Haryana. The night temperature is falling rapidly and the mercury is below normal in many districts. Narnaul recorded a minimum of 3.8°C. Fog, strong cold winds and minimum temperature of 3–5°C are likely during 7–13 December.
This time winter has set foot early in Haryana. In fact, the chill is clearly felt in the morning and evening winds and the night temperature is continuously going down. The effect of cold across the state has become more intense than in the last few days. According to meteorologists, the mercury in the state is much lower than normal, due to which people are having to endure severe cold. Let us tell you that yesterday i.e. on December 6, the maximum temperature recorded in Karnal, Palwal and Mewat districts of Haryana was 25.4 degrees Celsius, while in the morning the lowest temperature was recorded in Narnaul district at 3.8 degrees Celsius. This morning’s temperature in Haryana is 12°C.
Dr. Madan Lal Khichad, Head of the Agricultural Meteorological Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, said that due to the effect of western disturbance, changes are being seen in the weather. Cold may increase again on December 8, but due to north and northwest winds blowing from December 8, there is a possibility of the temperature falling again, especially at night. According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. 7th December, the air quality will be at the level of “very poor” and the cold is going to increase. Today the maximum temperature during the day can be recorded around 24°C, the minimum can be recorded around 7°C. There will be more fog on 8th December. There will be a significant drop in temperature on this day. The minimum temperature on this day can remain up to 5°C. There is a possibility of cold winds blowing at high speed on December 9, due to which the chill will increase and the maximum can be around 24°C and the minimum can be around 4°C. Whereas on December 10, there is no sign of improvement in the weather. The temperature will remain the same on this day. There will be relief from fog on December 11, but a drop in temperature will be seen at night. During this period the minimum temperature can remain around 4°C. Along with this, there will be light fog on 12th December and the sky may be surrounded by clouds. On 13th December the weather will be clear, but some areas may remain cloudy. Cold winds will blow on this day and the maximum can reach up to 25°C while the minimum temperature can be 3-5°C.
Along with the change in weather, continuous changes are being seen in the AQI level in Haryana. Actually, according to aqi.in, while the AQI level of the capital Delhi has been recorded at 269 in the morning, the AQI level of Faridabad district has been seen at 266. In the morning, AQI level of 235 was seen in Ambala district while AQI level of 239 was seen in Gurugram district.
