Chamba News: A major accident took place during a marriage ceremony late in the evening in village Shahwa of Jungra Gram Panchayat of Churah Assembly Constituency. More than 100 people were dancing on the roof of a traditional house made of mud when suddenly a large part of the roof collapsed. About 25 people got buried under the debris in the accident, but due to the alertness of the local people, everyone was immediately taken out safely.

More than 100 people were dancing on the roof of a traditional house made of mud when suddenly a large part of the roof fell down with a crash. About 25 people were buried under the debris in the accident.
Due to the promptness of the local people, all the injured were immediately taken out safely. The injured were taken to Teesa Civil Hospital for first aid, where their treatment is ongoing. Most people have suffered minor injuries and no serious damage has been reported.
As soon as information about the incident was received, local MLA Hansraj immediately reached the spot and took stock of the situation. After this, he went to Teesa Hospital and inquired about the well-being of the injured and instructed the doctors to ensure better and proper treatment.
At present, the condition of all the injured is said to be normal and all are safe. The local administration has started investigating the incident.
