Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has given a big statement regarding the alliance. Akhilesh Yadav said that the assembly elections to be held in UP in 2027 will be fought only with those with whom there is an alliance. Earlier, the Congress party had separated itself from the India alliance for MLC and Panchayat elections. The Congress party has decided to contest both these elections alone.
The decision on Panchayat elections was taken after the meeting with Rahul Gandhi.
Let us tell you that recently at 10 Janpath, National General Secretary of Congress and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Congress, Avinash Pandey said, ‘Organization creation and the election challenges that are before us in the coming days were discussed. Still doubtful about maintaining alliance with SP!
