Darbhanga Anand Vihar Special Train: There is good news for the people traveling from Darbhanga to Anand Vihar and from Anand Vihar to Darbhanga, this special train will be operated from Darbhanga Junction at 18:15 on 8 December 2025. Which will reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 23:00. In return, this train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 00:05 on 10 December 2025. Will reach Darbhanga Junction at 23:00. This train will have a total of 21 coaches including normal, sleeper, 2AC, 3AC and first AC.
Darbhanga: There is good news for railway passengers. In view of the increasing crowd of passengers, East Central Railway Samastipur Division has decided to run a special mail express train between Darbhanga Junction and Anand Vihar Terminal. This special train will be run in limited frequency so that the passengers can get relief from the winter and festival rush. The train will make trips on 8th December and 10th December. This is a better option for the passengers who have to come from Darbhanga to Anand Vihar and from Anand Vihar to Darbhanga.
Opening timings from Darbhanga and Anand Vihar
According to Railways, 05563 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar special train will be operated from Darbhanga Junction at 6:15 pm on 8 December 2025. Which will reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:00 pm. The return journey (train number 05564) will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 12:05 pm on 10 December 2025. It will reach Darbhanga Junction at 11:00 pm on the same day.

There will be a total of 21 coaches in this train. Which includes general, sleeper, second and third AC and first AC coaches. The train will stop at major stations like Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Chhapra, Banaras, Prayagraj, Govindpuri and Anand Vihar. This will provide direct and convenient connectivity to passengers traveling between Bihar and Delhi.
Only additional seats will be available
Railway officials say that passengers will not only get the benefit of additional seats from this special train. Rather, travel safety and convenience will also be ensured. This train will make long distance travel easier during rush hour. Samastipur division said that the convenience of passengers is its top priority. Similar special arrangements will continue from time to time in future also. The operation of Darbhanga-Anand Vihar special train will bring great relief to the passengers. Will make the traffic from Bihar towards Delhi more smooth.
