Apart from this, it was 6.1 degree in Daltonganj, 8.5 in Bokaro, 8.5 in Lohardaga, 8.5 in Jagannathpur of West Singhbhum, 9.0 in Latehar, 9.1 in Jamshedpur, 9.5 in Deoghar, and 9.6 in Koderma. There is a lot of icy wind blowing in all these districts.
Ranchi: Winter has started increasing in Jharkhand. Cold wave has also started in many districts. In this context, the condition of Gumla district of the state has become so bad that it has become difficult for people to leave their homes. The minimum temperature here has gone down to 3 degrees. Usually this temperature occurs in hill stations like Shimla and Manali. But Gumla of Jharkhand has now become like Hill Shimla and Manali. At the same time, the peg is around 5 degrees. Due to this havoc of cold, the situation here has become such that at 6 in the evening the roads start looking deserted.
Condition of most districts worsens due to drop in minimum temperature

There will be further drop in temperature
Today, especially in districts like Palamu, Garhwa, Gumla, Latehar, Lohardaga, the minimum temperature is going to fall by two degrees. At present the minimum temperature here is 8-9 degrees, which will be seen between 6-7 degrees within the next 24 hours.

According to the Meteorological Center, Ranchi, there is a possibility of partly cloudy sky during the day followed by mist and fog in the morning on December 7 and December 8. Whereas on December 9 the sky will be clear. Due to partial cloud cover, the sunshine will be very light in the afternoon. Because of which the feeling of icy cold will trouble people even more. Let us tell you that winter is going to be even more painful in the coming times.
Along with this, if we talk about pollution i.e. AQI of the state, Ranchi- 62, Jamshedpur- 84, Dhanbad- 61, Bokaro- 80 and Palamu- 85 were recorded. So overall it can be said that the people of Jharkhand are not expecting any respite from winter but pollution will not bother them.
