New Delhi. Bajaj Auto has updated its Pulsar N160 range and launched a new variant, which has gold USD forks and single-seat layout. The ex-showroom price in Delhi has been kept at Rs 1,23,983. This new variant has been brought on the demand of those customers who prefer single-seat configuration and do not want to compromise on handling or comfort. Bajaj says that this update has been done on the basis of customer feedback and its aim is to attract the daily bike riders as well as the old fans of Pulsar.

New Variant and Updated Pricing Now a total of four variants are available in the Pulsar N160 range, which have been introduced keeping in mind different types of customers. The cheapest variant is the single-seat twin-disc, which is priced at Rs 1,13,133. After this comes the dual-channel ABS variant, which is priced at Rs 1,16,773. The newly launched single-seat USD fork variant is available for Rs 1,23,983. Whereas, the top-spec dual ABS variant with USD forks is available for Rs 1,26,920.
Features and Equipment
Talking about electricals and equipment, Pulsar N160 gets bi-functional LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and glitter pattern LED taillamps. USB mobile charging facility is also provided in the bike. In higher variants with dual-channel ABS, information about turn-by-turn navigation and ABS ride modes is available on the console. The new USD fork variant maintains the sporty styling of the N series and adds a more premium look with a gold suspension finish.
Dimensions and hardware updates
There has been no change in the dimensions of the bike. It has a wheelbase of 1,348 mm, seat height of 795 mm and ground clearance of 165 mm, making it comfortable for most riders. The curb weight of the bike is 152 kg and the fuel tank capacity is 14 liters. Talking about tyres, it gets a wide 100/80-R17 tire at the front and 130/70-R17 at the rear. For braking, a 300 mm disc has been provided at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear, which come with ABS depending on the variant.
Engine and Performance
The Pulsar N160 range has a 164.82cc single-cylinder engine, which generates power of 16 PS at 8,750 rpm and torque of 14.65 Nm at 6,750 rpm. A 5-speed constant mesh gearbox is available with it. The performance of the bike is especially known for strong mid-range power and smooth city riding, due to which N160 has made its special place in the 160cc segment.

With the new USD fork variant, Bajaj has further strengthened the Pulsar N160 lineup to attract budget buyers as well as customers looking for premium features. This update further strengthens the bike’s position in the 160cc segment and reiterates Bajaj’s promise to make sport motorcycling more accessible to more people in India.
