Firozabad: A woman from London has started a new initiative with the aim of providing free English medium education to girls. Along with Hindi medium, now girls will also be taught free English medium in Dau Dayal Girls College of Firozabad. The city’s first free English medium girls school will be built for poor and helpless girls, where the daughter of any poor family will be able to complete her education without paying fees.
In this school, girls will be provided many facilities related to computer education, Artificial Intelligence (AI), sports and modern technology. With this, girls will get quality education and their future will become bright.
Mala Rastogi, President of Dau Dayal Girls Inter and Degree College, Firozabad, said that she has been living in London for a long time. In 1962, her father had established Hindi Medium Girls College for girls. He said,
The demand for English medium education has increased with time. Financially strong families send their children to good English schools, but most of the families in Firozabad are not able to do so. Because, he is poor and his financial condition is not so good. Therefore, we have decided to start the city’s first free English medium girls school.
This school will be only for girls and everything from education to facilities will be completely free. Crores of rupees will be spent on this project and the construction of the school will be completed soon.
