Former Pentagon official Michael Rubin claimed that the credit for India-Russia closeness goes not to Putin but to Trump. He said that Modi’s hospitality towards Putin is the result of America’s wrong policies and India’s strategic needs. Rubin said that America should stop lecturing India.

Former Pentagon official Michael Rubin has said that the real credit for the warm welcome given to Russian President Vladimir Putin in New Delhi goes to Donald Trump. While talking to news agency ANI, Rubin taunted that if anyone deserves the Nobel Prize for this moment, it is not Putin but Trump.
Why asked for Nobel for Donald Trump?
According to Rubin, Trump’s policies played an important role in India-Russia closeness. He said that the level of respect that Putin received in India was not seen anywhere else. He claimed that India’s hosting is a result of the situation created by Trump with India. Rubin said, ‘I would say that Donald Trump should get the Nobel Prize, because no one else could bring India and Russia closer than he did.’
