Sambhal News: In Sambhal, due to the greed of insurance worth Rs 2.10 crore, the father got his son murdered by getting trapped in the conspiracy of the advocate. Baburam got Aniket killed with a rod by giving him a betel nut worth Rs 3.5 lakh and tried to show an accident. As soon as the truth came out in the post-mortem and investigation, the father and three accused were arrested.
A case has come to light in Bahjoi police station area of Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, which has surprised everyone. Here a father killed his own son to grab the insurance claim. Police investigation has revealed that 29 year old youth named Aniket Sharma was murdered by his father Babu Ram Sharma to grab the life insurance money.
According to the police, after getting an insurance policy for the deceased Aniket, his father had given him a contract of Rs 3.5 lakh. After this, on the night of 16th November, on the way to Kundarki police station area, three miscreants injured Aniket by hitting him on the head with an iron rod and then left his body on the roadside to make it look like a recent accident. Initially the father himself had called it an accident. But the serious injuries reported and Baburam’s changing statement deepened the police’s suspicion. Further investigation revealed that Aniket had an accident insurance worth Rs 2.10 crore in his name, the information of which Baburam kept hiding from the police.
When the police took Baburam into custody and interrogated him rigorously, he broke down and exposed the entire conspiracy. During interrogation, it was revealed that Aniket used to create ruckus in the house every day under the influence of alcohol, due to which Baburam, being upset, told his problem to his acquaintance, advocate Adesh Kumar. Suggesting permanent treatment, the advocate got Aniket’s bank account opened in January 2024 and got an insurance of Rs 2.10 crore in his name. The surprising thing is that Baburam was informed about the insurance amount of only Rs 25 lakh, whereas the actual amount was many times more than that.
After this, advocate Adesh instigated Baburam to murder his son. In the greed of getting Rs 25 lakh, Baburam gave betel nut to Aslam alias Sultan of Rampur for Rs 3.5 lakh. As per the plan, on the night of 16 November, Aslam, Tahabbur Mewati and Sajid together attacked Aniket on the head with rods and killed him. Later, an attempt was made to make it look like an accident by throwing the body on the roadside so that the insurance claim could be easily received.
The police have arrested Baburam and the three betel nut killers and sent them to jail, while advocate Adesh Kumar and another accused are still absconding.
