Chandigarh. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet in the case of throwing bombs at two clubs in Gurugram, Haryana. Members of the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist organization had thrown bombs at two clubs in Gurugram in 2024 and now a charge sheet has been filed against three more accused in this case.
According to the information, a charge sheet has been filed against Vijay, Ajit Sehrawat and Vinay under relevant sections of BNS, Explosive Substance Act and UA (P) Act for their involvement in the planning and conspiracy of bomb blast at Warehouse Club and Human Club in Sector-29, Gurugram, Haryana on 10 December 2024. Supplementary charge sheet against him was filed in NIA Special Court, Panchkula (Haryana) on Thursday.
The arrested accused were found to be associated with gangster Randeep Malik sitting abroad as well as Rohit Godara, a close associate of declared terrorist Satinderjit Singh alias Goldie Brar sitting in Canada. NIA had already filed a charge sheet against Goldie Brar and four others in this case in June this year.
NIA investigation has revealed that the three chargesheeted accused had received explosives and terror funds from foreign handlers of a big terrorist syndicate to carry out activities aimed at promoting the extremist agenda of BKI. According to the NIA investigation, the objective of this conspiracy was to disturb peace and destabilize law and order in Haryana and other northern states.
The investigation by the anti-terror agency has further revealed that there is a large network of operatives involved in terrorist activities on the instructions of foreign terrorist handlers. Efforts are on to trace these operatives and their other conspirators as well as the financial channels involved in the conspiracy.
