Shimla. Shant Mahayagya started after 54 years in the Devta Nageshwar temple in Jhadag village of Jubbal, Rohru in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. This peaceful Mahayagya has started on Thursday. It is being told that the temple has been constructed here with a cost of Rs 1.5 crore and it is being told that Rs 80 crore is expected to be spent on all the pomp and show here.
On Thursday, first Durga Mata Hatkoti entered the Raas Mandal in the temple and then deity Dhaunlu completed the process of breaking the Raas Mandal. It is being told that arrangements have been made in about seven villages for Shant Mahayagya. Arrangements for food, drink and accommodation have been made for the guests outside the homes.
According to the report of Dainik Jagran, this yagya will continue till December 6. Earlier, Mahayagya had taken place in the year 1971. Motmin Rai Lal Mehta of the temple committee said that around 500 Devlu will reach the Mahayagya along with Lord Parashuram. Shant Mahayagya is a traditional religious event and a symbol of the ancient culture of the state. Which is done in the honor of deity Nageshwar Maharaj. The purpose of Mahayagya is to pacify the power of Lord Nageshwar and to pray for the happiness and prosperity of the area.
Rai Lal Mehta told that on the first day, the ritual of Raas Mandap (chanting Dhood) on Sangheda, on the second day the ritual of Shikha Pher and on the third day during Uchchad-Pachhad, both the deities, Parshuram of Parsa, Ghadi of Hatkoti and all the Batolis will leave for their respective villages and temples.
Police has issued traffic plan, main roads coming to Jharag village
• Nawar – Tikkar – Sheel Ghat Baral – Jharag route.
•Kotkhai-Kharapathar-Shilghat-Baral-Jharag route.
• Jubbal-Santoshinagar-Kaina-Shilghat-Baral-Jharag route.
•Dochi-Cheenwa-Magavata-Mandhol-Shilghat – Baral-Jharag route. Dochi-Cheenwa-Sari Kainchi-Nakradi-Jharag route. Patsari-Sari Kainchi-Nakradi-Jharag route.
According to the police, on 04, 05 and 06 December, the road from Patsari to village Jharag has been made one way from Sari Kainchi to Baral village for the vehicles going towards Jharag for smooth traffic arrangements. All these vehicles will go towards village Baral Balasan Link Road via Chebri Patsari for return. Or you can use Jharag-Shagun-Badi Link Road or leave for your destination via Sheel Ghat. Similarly, Balasan-Patsari road has also been made one way for vehicles going towards Patsari for smooth traffic system. All vehicles going towards Chebri and Balasan will go via Sari Kainchi via Jharag Chebri Link Road.
The routes coming from Navar Tikkar, Khadapathar, Jubbal and Dochi via Sheelghat will be open for two-way movement of vehicles till Baral village.
Other Link Roads: Village Chebdi-Tandali-Paudhar-Mehandali road (connects with Hatkoti-Rohdu road), this route can be used by small vehicles going from Chebdi to Rohdu. Village Balasan-Badholi-Baral Road: Both the above roads are unpaved and narrow, they can be used as evacuation routes for small vehicles in case of emergency.
