At that time the reporters had reached the hospital so that they could report the stabbing incident that took place in Raipur. But Wasim Babu’s bouncers stopped the journalists from reporting on the injured person. The matter escalated and the bouncers assaulted the journalists.
After this incident, the police took action and shaved half the heads of the three accused and took them out in a public procession. Despite this, it is a matter of concern that now the same person and his bouncers have been entrusted with the security of players in national and international cricket matches.
