However, when answers to the questions were not received, the Leader of Opposition again raised questions and said that information is being received from RTI, but the government is not responding. The government has hired an agency to abuse the opposition and tarnish its image. Through social media, some pages are being run with the government’s money to tarnish my image and abuse me. On this, the CM said in the House that BJP has this kind of culture and Congress does not. This is the work of BJP’s IT cell. The questions raised by the Leader of the Opposition will be investigated.
CM said in the House that BJP has misrepresented my talk about Radhe-Radhe to the children. I had asked the children whether they know why Radhe says Radhe. Everyone in Vrindavan says Radhe Radhe but it was cut and wrongly presented on social media. When Minister Jagat Negi asked the Speaker about the action on the notice of breach of privilege on the remarks of the Leader of Opposition, Kuldeep Pathania said that the notice has been given to the Legislative Assembly Secretary for examination, information about the subsequent action will be given soon.
When BJP MLA Vipin Parmar raised questions on this, Negi attacked him too and both of them got into an altercation. During this time, there was huge noise and uproar in the House and the Speaker adjourned the proceedings for 10 minutes. However, later when the proceedings of the House started again, Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania sought cooperation from everyone and assured to remove the unparliamentary words from the record.
Meanwhile, Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi said in the House that everyone has the right to express their views in their own way and there should be no censorship in freedom, I always speak in my turn, do not speak in between anyone, I never interrupt any member, if speaking the truth is bad manners then I will continue to do this bad manners. Negi said that I was called ill-mannered, nonsense, I too was elected five times in public and I was threatened, I am a tribal, I am not afraid of anyone. There is no bitterness in my mind towards anyone.
Jairam Thakur refused to speak unparliamentary words
On this, the Leader of Opposition said in the House that I did not speak any unparliamentary word and as per the records I never spoke nonsense. I have been an MLA for six consecutive terms and everyone knows about my nature. We have no quarrel. They should also find the shortcomings and I have no benefit from unnecessary debate. Such issues should be left aside. There should be discussion on issues of public interest and everything should be put to rest and taken forward.
CM Sukhu cornered BJP
CM said in the House that our heart is already big and 80 ministers have their own dignity in the proceedings so far. It is not correct to address this minister as. It is our right to make or not to make or remove ministers. Yesterday, the leader of the opposition had called the minister rude while leaving. Leader of Opposition Jairam had started all this. The MLA from Sarkaghat spoke rudely. CM said that Jagat Singh Negi did not speak on any person, but on ideology. Jagat Negi is a clean and honest person. This House has a dignity. The House should run accordingly and whatever unparliamentary words have been said should be removed from the record.
