Kurukshetra NIA Team Raid: Bihar’s NIA team raided Kalra Gun House in Shahabad, Kurukshetra, detained Vijay Kalra and Yash Kalra, investigation into illegal arms smuggling is going on. The team has taken away the father and son. It is being told that illegal weapons have also been recovered.
KurukshetraThe team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) Patna (Bihar) knocked at Shahabad in Kurukshetra on Thursday, Here the team raided the house of the operator of Kalra Gun House in Green Park Colony, The team also searched their office and detained the father and son and interrogated them, The team’s action continued till after 10 pm,
According to the information, NIA has conducted search operations at 22 different places from Haryana to Bihar. This entire matter is related to illegal smuggling of weapons. According to sources, this raid is said to be related to the network of illegal ammunition smuggling in many areas from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar. The agency believes that this smuggling could be part of a conspiracy to strengthen the terrorist network.
NIA started raiding Vijay Kalda’s house at around 5 am. After investigating for about 5 hours, the team knocked at his office located on Devi Mandir Road. According to sources, the team recovered a lot of weapons and documents from the house and office.
Went to Patna with father and son
After about 17 hours of investigation, NIA detained gun house operator Vijay Kalra and his younger son Yash Kalra and left for Patna with them for further questioning. However, Vijay Kalra’s elder son Lakshya Kalra ran away from home before the team arrived. This entire action was carried out under the leadership of NIA’s Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Raghav Vashishtha. There were 15 more people included with him in the team. For security reasons, 24 Kurukshetra Police personnel remained with the team. However, the team did not share any of its actions with the police.

Before leaving, the team got Vijay and his son medically examined from Shahabad Hospital. After this, she presented him before the magistrate and took him with her for questioning. However, NIA did not provide any information from its side. It is possible that the team will arrive again tomorrow to take action.
