Those who buy these are not ordinary enthusiasts but big collectors, billionaires and high net worth investors. The value of these bottles is not determined only by their age or taste, but their rare story, limited production and even jewelry like decanters take the price many times higher.
1. Isabella’s Islay: Price- around ₹ 463000000. It is considered to be the most expensive whiskey in the world because its bottle itself is like jewellery. It contains about 8500 diamonds and 300 rubies and the decanter is made of white gold. In fact, its price is determined by the luxury design of the whiskey along with its bottle.
2. The Macallan 1926 Valerio Adami Edition: Price- Around ₹ 230000000. This bottle was made in only 40 units and today is counted among the most collectible whiskeys in the world. Its label was created by the famous artist Valiori Adami, hence it is considered a combo of both whiskey and art.
3. The Macallan 1926 Michael Dillon Edition: Price- Around ₹ 120000000. This was the only bottle on which Michael Dillon created hand painted artwork. It was sold for crores of rupees during an auction in the UK and is one of the most premium bottles of the McAllen brand.

Its taste profile is considered extremely rich and aged and is considered by collectors as one of the most prestigious whiskeys.

7. The Macallan Lalique Legacy Collection: Price- More than ₹ 500000000 for the complete set. This is not a single bottle but a complete set of 6 different aged bottles. Its price is so high because Lalique company had prepared handcrafted crystal decanters for it.
8. The Macallan Red Collection 60 Year Old: Price- Around ₹ 60000000. This is one of the most exclusive bottles in McAllen’s modern ultra premium lineup. Only a few limited units were released and it is considered to be one of the smoothest aged single malt whiskeys in the world.
