The dry weather in Himachal Pradesh has increased the problems of the people these days. These days, the effect of cold wave is clearly visible in the state. A drop in minimum temperatures is also being seen at many places in the state. The minimum temperature has fallen below 5 degrees Celsius in 16 places of the state. In such a situation, the minimum mercury has reached minus in Kalpa, Kumumseri, Samdo and Tabo. In Kullu also, the sky remained light cloudy on Thursday afternoon, while cold wave was being seen in the morning and evening.
What is the warning regarding the weather?
According to Sandeep Sharma, scientist of Meteorological Center, Shimla, now an alert has been issued in many areas of the state regarding change in weather on 5th and 7th December. During this period, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at some places in the high hilly areas of Chamba, Kangra and upper areas of Kullu district. However, fog has also been predicted in some parts of Bilaspur and some parts of Balh valley of Mandi on 5th and 6th December. But during this period there is also a possibility of increase in minimum temperature by 2 to 3 degrees.
