All New Tata Sierra 2025: New Tata Sierra has been launched on ARGOS platform, starting price Rs 11.49 lakh. Electric version, 7 seater and CNG will come soon. Booking from 16th December, delivery from January 2026. Tata Sierra has been one of the biggest car launches of this year. After its launch, the car has created a lot of buzz in the market.
New Delhi. The new Tata Sierra has created quite a stir in the market and the reason behind it is clear. It is based on the new modular ARGOS platform and the starting price of the midsize SUV has been kept at Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Many great features have been given in it right from the base variant. Due to the flexibility of this platform, new seating layouts and many powertrain options will be seen in the coming time.
Sierra electric version
The electric version of Sierra has been confirmed to be launched early next year. Apart from this, 7 seater variant and CNG version can also be introduced soon. Additionally, as a tribute to the original Sierra, the new Sierra will also get a four-wheel-drive system within the next two years. The design of the new Sierra is also its big feature.
Styling Elements
Its styling elements are reminiscent of the first generation Sierra, but modern touches have also been retained. Its interior is quite spacious due to the long wheelbase and wheels fitted to the sides and it has a boot space of 622 litres. The new Hyperion petrol engine has also been included in Tata’s portfolio in the five-seater variant.
Direct Injection Turbocharged Petrol Engine
The 1.5 liter direct injection turbocharged petrol engine produces 160 PS of maximum power and 255 Nm of peak torque. It is available only with a six-speed torque converter automatic unit. Performance based, this powertrain is considered to be the most fuel efficient turbocharged petrol engine in its segment.
1.5 liter diesel engine
The already familiar 1.5 liter diesel engine is also available, which gives 120 PS power and 280 Nm torque in automatic trim. Whereas, NA 1.5 liter petrol engine gives 106 PS power and 145 Nm torque. The diesel engine can be bought with a six-speed manual or a six-speed AT, while the petrol engine comes with a six-speed MT or a seven-speed dual clutch automatic. Official bookings for the new Tata Sierra will begin from December 16 at authorized dealerships across the country and online, while deliveries to customers will begin from mid-January 2026. Its complete price list will also be released this month.
