Agricultural scientist S.K.Singh and meteorologist A.Sattar say that late sown varieties are proving to be a better option for farmers. The late variety suggested for North Bihar. They include HUW 234, WR 544, HD 2967, HW 2045, Rajendra Wheat-1 and HI 1563. These are certified seeds and give good yields even when sown late.
