PM Modi Gift To Putin: Prime Minister Narendra Modi warmly welcomed Russian President Vladimir Putin who arrived in New Delhi. Both the leaders set an example of deep friendship by traveling in the same car. New Delhi: A new and intimate chapter was added to the relations between India and Russia on Thursday evening. Russian President Vladimir Putin reached New Delhi on his two-day visit to India. Here, breaking protocol and with great warmth, Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed him. But the most special thing about this meeting was the gift which PM Modi gave to his ‘friend’ Putin. During the dinner, PM Modi presented a copy of ‘Shrimad Bhagavad Gita’ written in Russian language to President Putin.
Prime Minister Modi welcomed President Putin at his official residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. It was here that an informal dinner was organized between the two leaders. During this, PM Modi presented Geeta to Putin. While sharing the picture on the social media platform ‘X’, PM Modi wrote, ‘Presented a copy of Srimad Bhagavad Gita in Russian language to President Putin. The teachings of Geeta inspire millions of people around the world.
