Mumbai. Central Railway has stopped the sale of platform tickets at 13 major railway stations of Maharashtra. Railways has taken this decision in view of the possible crowd at these stations. During this period, there will be a complete ban on the sale of tickets here for two days. Railways has released the list of these stations. Passengers have been appealed to check their names before leaving home.
According to Dr. Swapnil Neela, CPRO of Central Railway, due to Mahaparinirman Diwas, there will be no sale of platform tickets in 13 stations from December 5 to December 7. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the huge crowd of followers traveling in trains. So that passengers do not face any kind of problem. They can travel comfortably.
These stations are included
Stations where platform tickets will not be sold include CSMT and Dadar stations of Mumbai division from 5th to 7th December, Bhusaval, Nasik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Akola, Shegaon, Badnera, Malkapur and Chalisgaon of Bhusaval division and Nagpur station of Nagpur division on 5th and 6th December. Will happen. Railways has appealed to the people to leave their family members outside the station and return. If there is any elderly, sick person or pregnant woman, then personnel have been deployed to help them.
They will be exempted
From this restriction, people accompanying elderly persons, senior citizens, sick passengers, children, illiterate passengers or women who are unable to travel alone will be exempted from the restrictions.
