Dharamshala BJP Protest LIVE: Winter session of the Assembly is going on in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. However, on Thursday, a big demonstration is being organized by the BJP near the Assembly. BJP has organized a big rally at Zorawar Stadium. At present, everything is going on peacefully.
Hospice. BJP has started protest against the Congress government at Zorawar Maidan of Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. There is a dharna going on at Zorawar Stadium during the winter session of the Assembly and all the BJP MPs have reached this dharna, but Kangana Ranaut has not reached. Thousands of workers from different areas of the state gathered in the ground and raised anti-government slogans. The entire campus seems to be painted in the colors of BJP.
Actually, BJP is protesting against the three-year tenure of Sukhu government. Protests have been held against jobs, unemployment, guarantees and other decisions and BJP supporters from the state have come to it. According to BJP leaders, people are troubled by inflation, unemployment and deteriorating systems and this anger is clearly visible in the field today. BJP says that instead of listening to the voice of the people, the government is trying to suppress democratic opposition. The leaders also alleged that the Congress government is only increasing the political conflict, while the public issues remain the same.
On the other hand, women workers are present in large numbers in the protest and are raising slogans against the Congress government. The workers are expressing their anger against the policies of the government with flags in their hands. BJP leaders warned that if the government does not improve the situation and continues trying to suppress the voice of the people, then the BJP will launch bigger mass movements in the entire state.
All big leaders showed solidarity
In this show of strength, many leaders including former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, former Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan, Sikandar Kumar, Indu Goswami, MP Suresh Kashyap, MP Dr Rajeev Bhardwaj, BJP state in-charge Shrikant Sharma and President Rajeev Bindal have arrived. The demonstration is being held on the theme “3 years of system collapse”. Earlier, during a press conference at Zorawar Stadium today, senior BJP leader Trilok Kapoor and BJP MLA and former Assembly Speaker Bipin Parmar termed the government as anti-people and said that the atmosphere of change is visible in the entire state. On the other hand, Private Member Bill Day in the Assembly was on Thursday, but BJP members were not present in the Assembly and hence the Speaker has adjourned the proceedings.
