Ingredients to make Chilli Chaap
Soya Chaap – 6 sticks
Onion – 1 (cut into cubes)
Capsicum – 1 (cut into cubes)
Green chilli – 2 (cut into lengths)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Tomato Sauce – 2 tbsp
Soya sauce – 1 tablespoon
Red chili sauce – 1 tablespoon
Vinegar – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Black pepper powder – ¼ tsp
Cornflour – 2 tbsp
Oil – for frying and cooking
Method of preparation
Prepare Soya Chaap
First of all, boil soya chaap in lightly salted water for 5 minutes. Then remove it from the stick and cut it into small pieces.

Prepare the batter by adding cornflour, salt, red chilli powder and some water in a bowl. Add chaap pieces in it and coat it well.
Fry
Fry the marinated chaap in hot oil until it becomes light golden. Take them out and keep them aside.

Heat some oil in a pan. Add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry. Then add onion, capsicum and green chilli and fry on high flame for 2 minutes.
add sauce and spices
Now add tomato sauce, soya sauce, red chili sauce and vinegar to it. Mix salt and black pepper powder.

Add fried chaap and toss it well in the sauce. If you want, you can make light gravy by adding some water.

Serve hot chilli chaap with green chutney or sauce. Garnish by sprinkling green coriander and sesame seeds on top.
