Later the car was stopped when it collided with a school bus. Still he started bullying people. Later, the police personnel also had to struggle to control him. The accused was not coming out of the car.
Chandigarh. In City Beautiful Chandigarh, ASI under the influence of alcohol hit several vehicles with his car. An ASI of Chandigarh Police, while drunk and driving at high speed, hit several vehicles on Kaimbwala Road and tried to escape from the spot. During this time, police personnel also had to struggle to control the accused ASI.
According to eyewitnesses, the accused ASI Daljeet Singh was drunk and was driving recklessly, hitting at least 10 vehicles. At some distance, his car collided forcefully with a school bus coming from the front, due to which the car stopped on the spot.
After the collision, the people present at the spot tried to interrogate the ASI by opening the car window, but he started misbehaving. Many people present at the spot also made a video of the entire incident, in which the crowd can be heard reprimanding and scolding him. A female policeman also tried to take him out, but he was not ready to come out of the car. Later, M employee and another person present together forcefully took him out.
In the video, a person can also be heard saying that the ASI was coming from behind, hitting at least 20 vehicles. In the accident, the glass of the ASI’s car was broken and he also got injured on his face. It was fortunate that there was no pedestrian or cyclist at the spot, otherwise there could have been a huge loss. According to sources, the matter was later settled through mutual agreement.
