According to the order, SP Rajesh Verma has been suspended with immediate effect under the Central Civil Services Rules, 1965. It has also been clarified in the order that during the suspension period, his headquarters will be Police Headquarters, Shimla. During this period, they will not be able to leave the headquarters without the prior permission of the Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh.
At present, these orders have been issued by State Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta. At the same time, copies of the order have been sent to the concerned authorities for necessary action.
