Encounter on Dantewada-Bijapur border: An encounter took place between security forces and Maoists in Keshkutul forests of Bhairamgarh area on the border of Dantewada and Bijapur districts. This encounter has been going on intermittently since morning. According to sources, the team of security forces had gone on a joint operation and during this they encountered Maoist elements. Officials have confirmed the encounter. At the same time, if sources are to be believed, five Maoists have been killed in this encounter. Firing continued from both sides, due to which there is an atmosphere of tension in the area. The security forces team is searching and monitoring the area after the encounter so that the remaining Maoist activities can be suppressed. The local administration and police are also keeping an eye on the situation. Vigilance regarding security and law and order has been increased due to this encounter.
