In which many fish including Jasar, Rohu, Katla are eaten, but the taste of Rohu fish is liked the most. Munna told that before preparing the fish, the fish pieces are washed and cleaned properly. Then after that it is marinated properly. Two methods are used for marinating.
He told that some people like to fry the fish pieces by adding spices to it, then they add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and ginger, garlic and mustard paste to it and fry it. At the same time, some people fry it by just adding salt, turmeric and red chilli powder. The fish is cooked in oil on low flame, so that it becomes crispy.
Its gravy is very delicious
Munna told that very few and common spices are used to make its gravy. Generally onion is used in making any non-veg dish. But onion is not used in making fish. He told that first of all heat mustard oil in a vessel. Then cumin, pattaraj (bay leaf) and red chilli are added to it. After adding the standing spices, now add the prepared spices in it.
To prepare the masala, add cumin, ginger, black pepper, mustard, garlic, coriander etc. and make a thick paste. Put this paste directly in oil and fry it well. When the masala is ready and starts releasing oil, then add salt and water to it and boil it. During this time, if you want, you can add fish pieces to it, you can also eat the fish pieces dry.
