Ambedkar Nagar: A similar scene was seen at Ambedkar Nagar railway station on Monday, where at around 12 noon a newly married couple was seen waiting for the Bahraich Intercity Express on the platform. The couple was preparing to go to Gonda after the wedding in Baskhari.
Ambedkar Nagar: As soon as the winter season begins, fog has once again started showing its effect. Due to dense fog, traffic in Uttar Pradesh is being badly affected. Along with road traffic, rail services are also disrupted. Railways has canceled many trains due to bad weather and low visibility. In this sequence, Bahraich-Varanasi Intercity (train numbers 14213 and 14214) has been canceled till 28th February. Due to the cancellation information not reaching all the passengers, many people are forced to return disappointed after coming to the station.

The couple was preparing to go to Gonda after the wedding in Baskhari. He was not aware of the cancellation of the train. After waiting for a long time, when he got the news of train cancellation, he remained sitting on the platform hoping for another train.
Newly married young man gave information
Young Rajesh told that he did not have the money to travel long distances by private vehicle, hence he had opted for the train, but due to the cancellation of the train, his problems have increased. He said, ‘We just got married. Preparations are going on at home to welcome the new bride, but due to train cancellation there will be a delay in reaching home. Now if any other train or other means is found, that is the only support.
These trains canceled due to fog
Due to the effect of fog, not only trains are getting cancelled, but even the trains that are running are arriving late by hours. Train numbers 14853 Marudhar Express were delayed by 4.5 hours, 15743 Farakka Express by 2.5 hours, 13009 Doon Express by 45 minutes, 13307 Ganga-Sutlej Express by 40 minutes and 13308 Ganga-Sutlej Express by 50 minutes. Due to this, passengers had to wait for a long time on the platform. On the other hand, due to the cancellation of Bahraich-Varanasi Intercity, passengers had to cancel their tickets, due to which many people looked upset and disappointed. In view of the continuously increasing fog and uncertainty of weather, Railways has appealed to the passengers to check the status of the train before traveling.
