Sitamarhi: Under the Sitamarhi District Empowerment Program of Bihar, a big step has been taken towards providing technical strength to the education system. Under this, DIET Dumra has launched a new Diksha based digital learning material (MIP). Renowned teacher and technical team member Priyanka Priyadarshini said that this MIP titled ‘Development of understanding of shapes and patterns’ has been specially prepared for the students of class one and two. Its objective is to strengthen the basic literacy and numeracy (FLN) of children. This material is available on Diksha app from December 1, due to which the children of the district are getting quality learning material sitting at home. Priyanka said that the biggest feature of this project is that it strengthens the habit of reading and understanding and develops basic understanding in children.
He further said that this Micro Improvement Project (MIP), prepared with the help of the technical team of DIET Dumra, is also a good resource for teachers. The material has been designed in such a way that teachers can easily use it in the classrooms and children can learn with interest. Priyanka Priyadarshini said that the process of all the tasks was shared with the teachers through YouTube live sessions, so that they could be explained the use of the material in a step-by-step manner. He described it as a milestone in the direction of technology-based learning in the district.

DIET Principal Kumari Archana said that DIET Dumra has always been promoting quality education-training and this MIP is a new chapter of that commitment. He said that this material will serve as useful reference material for both trainee teachers and working teachers. Members of the technical team present during the program also said that digital learning material makes learning more effective and interesting, which will strengthen the basic education of the students. With this launch, the digital transformation of education in the district is expected to gain new momentum.
